4U rackmount server chassis supporting 240 mm liquid cooling radiators and SSI-EEB motherboards
The Silverstone RM42-502 is a 4U server chassis designed for rackmount deployment. It supports SSI-EEB motherboards and includes a front-panel anti-theft lock for physical security. The unit can be installed upright or horizontally to suit the rack layout.
This chassis accommodates liquid cooling radiators up to 240 mm in length. That single dimension decides whether your chosen closed-loop or custom loop will fit inside the 4U envelope. Verify your radiator length against this limit before purchasing.
The front provides two 5.25" bays that accept 3.5" or 2.5" drives directly. A USB Type-C port is also available on the front panel. Sliding rail mounting holes allow quick installation in standard server racks.
