Aluminium NUC chassis with pre-fitted Wi-Fi antenna, Bluetooth, dual HDMI, VESA 75 and DIN-rail mounts in a 130 x 110 x 41 mm case
The SilverStone Petit PT15 chassis is designed for Intel Haswell-based NUC motherboards. Its premium aluminium construction provides a stylish, palm-sized enclosure measuring 130mm by 110mm by 41mm. A removable bottom tray allows easy installation of the original stock NUC cooler. The case includes a pre-assembled Wi-Fi antenna and Bluetooth module for immediate wireless deployment.
The aluminium body acts as a heatsink for the installed NUC board, dissipating heat without adding active cooling components. This fanless approach ensures completely silent operation during typical workloads. Pre-assembled wireless antennas maintain connectivity without external protrusions. The compact footprint suits space-constrained desktops or mounted installations.
Under continuous load the chassis relies on its thermal mass and surface area to manage temperatures passively. Performance remains consistent as long as the stock NUC cooler transfers heat effectively to the aluminium shell. VESA 75 and DIN rail mounting options allow vertical orientation for improved natural convection. Builders needing active airflow or larger expansion capacity should consider alternative enclosures.

Remove the bottom tray, place the Intel Haswell NUC board onto the tray using its original cooler, then slide the tray back into the aluminum shell and secure it.
The antenna is fixed inside the case; no routine maintenance is required unless physical damage occurs, in which case the whole antenna assembly would need replacement.
The passive aluminum shell and the stock NUC cooler define the thermal ceiling; expect throttling once the CPU hits its junction temperature under prolonged heavy work.
