6 GB DDR2 kit for DFI LANPARTY LP JR 790GX-M2RS

This 6 GB kit contains three 2 GB DDR2 DIMMs built to run at 667 MHz with PC2-5400 and PC2-5300 ratings. The 240-pin modules are validated for full compatibility with the DFI LANPARTY LP JR 790GX-M2RS motherboard. It suits owners of that board who need the maximum supported memory in a matched set.

Sustained load behaviour on legacy DDR2 platform

Under continuous use the modules operate at the rated 667 MHz without exceeding the standard DDR2 voltage envelope. The three-stick population fills every slot on the target board, so memory density is fixed at 6 GB. Builders who want more capacity or a faster memory standard cannot use this kit.

Questions about this item

How much power does this DDR2 kit draw when the system runs all day?

DDR2 DIMMs at 667 MHz typically draw a few watts per module, so the three 2 GB sticks together add only a small load to the motherboard power budget.

What motherboard slot must my board provide for these three 240-pin modules to work?

The kit requires three DDR2 DIMM sockets; the DFI LANPARTY LP JR 790GX-M2RS has four, so all three sticks will fit.
