6 GB DDR2 kit for Biostar TA790GX A2+

This 6 GB DDR2 kit contains three 2 GB DIMMs rated at 800 MHz and specified as PC2 6400 or PC2 6300. It is built for the Biostar TFORCE TA790GX A2+ motherboard and uses the standard 240 pin desktop form factor. The modules are new and intended for systems that require this exact density and speed combination.

100 percent compatible memory for the target board

The kit is validated for 100 percent compatibility with the Biostar TFORCE TA790GX A2+, removing guesswork when populating all three slots. Builders who need ECC, registered modules or higher capacities than 6 GB must look elsewhere because this package supplies only unbuffered non ECC DDR2 DIMMs at the stated speeds.

Questions about this item

Will the three 2 GB DDR2 modules need replacement or maintenance later?

DDR2 DIMMs have no moving parts and require no scheduled maintenance; they are replaced only if a module fails or the system is upgraded.

What limit appears first when all three 2 GB DIMMs run at 800 MHz under sustained load?

The memory controller on the TA790GX A2+ board may reduce the operating frequency to maintain stability with the full 6 GB kit.
