Mechanical Pushbutton Combination Lock

The Simplex 6204-60 is a gold-tone mechanical pushbutton lock that grants exterior access by combination while allowing free egress from the inside at all times. It suits commercial or residential doors where a single access code replaces physical keys and battery-powered electronics are undesirable.

Replaces Keyed Cylinders and Battery Locks

This lock removes the need for key management and the recurring cost of battery changes because it operates purely mechanically. The upgrade is worth it when a facility wants one programmable code that can be changed at the keypad without removing the lock from the door.

Fits Standard Doors with 70 mm Backset

Installation requires a 2-3/4 inch backset and a door thickness between 35 mm and 57 mm, compatible with wood or metal doors. The 13 mm throw latch and UL-listed floating faceplate work with a standard strike plate, while the all-metal cast housing and clutch-protected thumbturn resist forced entry.
