Mechanical Pushbutton Combination Lock
The Simplex 7102-26D is a mechanical pushbutton combination lock with a tubular deadbolt designed for primary or auxiliary access control on wood or metal doors. It operates without batteries and allows free egress at all times via the interior knob while the deadbolt must be manually relocked after each use.
2-3/4" Backset Compatibility
The lock fits doors with a 2-3/4" (70mm) backset and thicknesses ranging from 1-3/8" (35mm) to 2-1/4" (57mm); doors outside this range will not align with the latch mechanism. Buyers needing a different backset measurement or a keyed entry option cannot use this model.
Straightforward Surface Installation
The all-metal cast front housing mounts to standard door preparations with a flat deadbolt strike plate included, and the single access code is programmed directly at the keypad without removing the lock from the door. Installers must verify door thickness and backset before drilling to avoid misalignment of the 1" (25mm) tubular deadbolt.

Questions about this item
How does the 2-3/4" backset affect where I drill the door?
The 2-3/4" backset means the centre of the lock bore sits 70 mm from the door edge, so mark and drill at that distance.
What does the mechanical pushbutton interface mean for daily use?
It operates without batteries or wiring; you enter a single code on the keypad to retract the latch, and the deadbolt must be manually relocked each time.
Will this lock fit my door thickness and what mounting hardware is included?
It fits wood or metal doors 35 mm to 57 mm thick and includes a flat deadbolt strike plate for the frame.
