This Simplex 7104-26D is a mechanical pushbutton combination lock in a satin chrome finish. It operates without batteries or wiring, using a single user code entered on the front pushbuttons. The deadlocking latch automatically secures the door upon closing, while the interior knob always allows free egress. The code is changed at the keypad without removing the lock from the door.

Suits doors 35 to 57 mm thick

The adjustable backset fits standard 60 mm and 70 mm preparations, and the lock mounts on wood or metal doors between 35 mm and 57 mm thick. It is not suited for exterior gates exposed to driving rain, for doors thicker than 57 mm, or for installations that require a key override or multiple user codes.

Deadlocking latch throws 13 mm

The latchbolt extends 13 mm and deadlocks against forced retraction when the door is closed. This single specification confirms whether the lock will engage the strike correctly on your door prep.
