The Simplex 919-1-04 is a keyless mechanical pushbutton combination lock finished in satin brass. It suits commercial or residential doors where battery-free operation and a single shared access code are preferred. The lock fits doors ranging from 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" thick and includes a flat strike for standard frame preparation.

Sustained Operation

Because the mechanism is entirely mechanical, performance does not degrade with use and there are no batteries to monitor or replace. The deadlocking spring latch automatically relocks each time the door closes, maintaining security during continuous traffic. A force-resistant cast front housing and clutch-protected thumbturn withstand repeated daily cycles without electronic failure points.

Upgrade From Keyed Entry

This unit replaces traditional keyed cylinders where key management has become impractical or where power supply for electronic locks is unavailable. The jump is worth it when a single programmable code simplifies access for multiple users and when eliminating battery maintenance reduces long-term cost. It is not suited for installations requiring audit trails, multiple unique codes or remote access control.
