Right-Hand Mechanical Combination Lock

The Simplex L1021B-RH-3 is a heavy-duty cylindrical lever lock finished in bright brass. It provides keyless exterior access via a single pushbutton combination code while allowing free egress from the interior. The mechanical design removes the need for battery changes and suits wood or metal doors between 35 mm and 57 mm thick.

Replaces Keyed-Only Cylindrical Locks

This unit upgrades a standard keyed entry where code-based access is preferred and wiring for electronics is impractical. The jump is worth it when you need to issue a shared code instead of managing physical keys and want a 3-hour UL/ULC fire rating on A-label doors. It is not for buyers who require multiple user codes, audit trails or remote management.

Fits Adjustable Backset Prep

Installation uses the adjustable backset covering 60 mm and 70 mm centres with a 13 mm by 19 mm latch. The single code is programmed at the keypad without removing the lock from the door. What usually goes wrong is ordering without a compatible 6 or 7 pin SFIC core, which is sold separately, or fitting the right-hand lever on a left-hand door swing.
