Simplex LP1020S Mechanical Pushbutton Exit Trim

This Simplex LP1020S mechanical pushbutton exit trim provides keyless exterior access for doors equipped with exit devices. It operates without batteries and accepts a Schlage large-format interchangeable core that is sold separately. The lock is configured for left-hand doors and fits thicknesses from 1-3/8" to 2-1/4". A single access code is programmed at the keypad without removing the lock.

Suited for commercial fire-rated openings needing

This trim suits commercial openings that require a 3-hour UL/ULC fire rating on "A" label doors and where a Schlage LFIC is preferred. It is not for right-hand doors, nor for cylinders of other formats such as small-format interchangeable cores or standard key-in-lever cylinders. It also does not suit projects that need multiple managed codes or audit trails.

2-3/4" tailpiece for exit device operation

The lock ships with a 70 mm tailpiece that engages the exit device from the outside. An optional 5-inch tailpiece for freezer doors is available separately under part number 744773-000-01. The fixed ADA-compliant lever and heavy-duty cast housing complete the assembly for wood or metal doors.
