60 Inch LED Tailgate Light Bar

This 60 inch LED tailgate light bar fits Ford F-150, F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks from 2006 through 2021. It mounts on the rear driver side using surface-mount adhesive tape and included hardware. The unit houses 108 LEDs (36 white, 72 red) behind a smoke housing and red lens. It operates on DC 12V power and draws 20W.

Upgrade from Basic Tailgate Lighting

The bar replaces a single-function tailgate light with five integrated functions: running lights, brake lights, reverse lights, hazard lights and sequential left/right turn signals. The jump is worth it when you want brighter 6000K white reverse output (2400LM) and red 5050-SMD turn/brake signals in one IP65/IP67 sealed strip. It adds a 2-way splitter, inline fuses, switch and extension cable for a complete wiring kit.

Limits of 12V Surface-Mount Light Strips

The light strip uses a standard 4-pin connector and constant-current drive with overload, short-circuit and over-temperature protection. It is rated for -20°F to 150°F operating temperature and up to 30,000 hours lifespan. The 180° viewing angle covers wide rear visibility. Adhesion depends on a clean, wax-free surface; the peel-and-stick tape offers 5X strength but permanent bonding varies with substrate and climate.
