External 1.6 m Power Switch

The SinLoon cable adds a remote push-button to any desktop computer so the power control can sit where the user wants it. A white ABS housing with LED illumination connects through standard motherboard headers using the supplied 1-to-2 splitter that keeps the original case button active. Installation uses 3M adhesive for surface mounting on a desk or chassis side.

Sustained Operation Behaviour

The push-button mechanism is rated for manual actuation rather than continuous duty and the IP00 housing offers no ingress protection. LED indicators draw minimal current from the motherboard header so heat build-up during long periods of use remains negligible. No active cooling or thermal management is required for the switch assembly itself.

Connector and Cable Limits

The 1.6 metre four-pin lead carries Power SW, Power LED+ and Power LED signals between the remote button and the mainboard. Length is fixed at 1.6 m so placement farther from the host requires a different cable. The splitter occupies a single front-panel header group; boards without spare pins cannot support both buttons simultaneously.
