Evidence Bag Dimensions and Quantity

The Sirchie Blank Kraft Evidence Bag measures 8 by 5 by 18 inches and ships as a set of 100 bags. This paper construction provides a breathable environment that helps preserve the integrity of collected items. Law enforcement agencies and forensic labs receive a practical supply for daily evidence packaging tasks.

Breathable Paper Limitations

Kraft paper allows air circulation but does not create a moisture-proof or vapour-tight barrier on its own. Wet or biological evidence can degrade if the bag is not paired with an appropriate desiccant or if it remains sealed in humid conditions. The material also lacks built-in tamper evidence, so an additional sealing method is required to maintain chain of custody.

Upgrade From Generic Bags

These bags replace generic paper sacks that may tear easily or lack consistent sizing for evidence-room shelving. The uniform 100-count pack standardises inventory and reduces the risk of running short during high-volume cases. The jump is worth it when an agency needs reliable, repeatable dimensions and a surface that accepts integrity tape cleanly.
