Refractor telescope for beginners

The siroka 90060 is a 60mm aperture refractor telescope designed for entry-level astronomers and children learning the stars and planets. It comes with an azimuthal mount and an aluminium tripod for stable viewing. The package includes multiple eyepieces, a finder scope, a moon filter and a Barlow lens to expand observation options.

Three eyepieces for varied magnification

The telescope ships with H20mm, H12.5mm and H6mm eyepieces plus an SR4mm extender and an erecting eyepiece. Swapping eyepieces changes the magnification so users can observe closer objects at lower power or distant targets at higher power. The 5x24 finder scope helps locate objects before switching to the main optics.

60mm aperture defines light grasp

The 60mm objective diameter determines how much light the telescope gathers and therefore the faintest objects visible. A larger aperture would show dimmer deep-sky targets but this size keeps the instrument portable for young users. Buyers who need more light grasp for faint galaxies should consider instruments with a bigger aperture.

Questions about this item

Will the 90060 run silently and stay cool during an all-night observing session?

The 90060 is a purely optical refractor with no motorised parts, so it generates no noise or heat of its own.

What else must I already own for the 90060 to work out of the box?

The 90060 ships with an aluminium tripod, azimuthal mount, 5x24 finder scope, four eyepieces (H20, H12.5, H6, SR4), an erecting eyepiece, a moon filter and a Barlow lens, so no extra items are required.

Can I keep using my older tripod with the 90060?

The 90060 includes its own aluminium tripod and azimuthal mount; the supplied hardware is designed for this optical tube and no adapter for legacy tripods is mentioned.
