Sirui 20mm T1.8 Anamorphic Lens

The Sirui 20mm T1.8 1.33X S35 AF Anamorphic Lens brings a cinematic widescreen look to APS-C and Super35 cameras. Its 1.33x horizontal squeeze produces a distinctive 2.4:1 aspect ratio without cropping, delivering the horizontal flares and oval bokeh associated with professional film production. The neutral flare variant renders highlights cleanly for a subtle, controlled aesthetic.

Filmmakers needing autofocus on anamorphic

This lens suits solo operators and gimbal users who require fast, accurate autofocus with eye-tracking support. The STM stepping motor enables smooth focus transitions during video and reliable subject acquisition for stills. Shooters who rely exclusively on manual-focus workflows or need a full-frame image circle should consider other options.

1.33x squeeze on Super35 sensors

The 1.33x horizontal compression is designed for Super35 and APS-C formats, yielding a 22mm full-frame equivalent horizontal field of view. On larger sensors the squeeze factor changes the final aspect ratio, while on smaller sensors the effective width narrows. Matching the squeeze to the sensor size determines whether the footage delivers the intended cinematic proportions.
