Collapsible 4-piece 40 oz set

This Sistema set provides four identical blue containers, each holding 40 oz, designed for home kitchens and portable meals. The collapsible silicone bodies fold flat to save up to 50 percent of cabinet space when empty. Lids feature four snap buckles and a silicone seal ring to keep contents fresh. An integrated air vent allows steam release during microwave heating.

40 oz capacity with temperature headroom

Each container handles freezer storage down to -4 °F and microwave heating up to 428 °F, while the polypropylene rim is rated to 212 °F. The silicone body remains flexible and shatter-resistant across the full range. Avoid prolonged microwave heating to protect the rim material. Top-rack dishwasher cleaning is supported for easy maintenance.

Upgrades rigid single-use tubs

The foldable design replaces bulky rigid containers that waste shelf space when not full. It suits users who need stackable storage that collapses after use. Buyers who require modular sizes or larger individual volumes will find the uniform 40 oz format limiting.

Questions about this item

Will the 40 oz containers stack with my existing 20 oz Sistema containers?

The uniform 40 oz size and collapsible design let them nest with similar Sistema containers, saving up to 50 percent of cupboard space when folded.

How do I know the air vent is open before microwaving?

The lid has a visible vent tab; slide it to the open position and you will see the gap, confirming steam can escape during heating.

Does the 4-piece set include the snap-buckle lids or must I buy them separately?

Each of the four containers comes with its own lid fitted with four snap buckles and a silicone seal ring, so nothing extra is required.
