SK 5-Piece Pliers Set

This SK 5-piece pliers set includes 10-inch groove joint pliers, 9.5-inch linesman pliers, 8-inch slip joint pliers, 8-inch diagonal pliers and 8-inch needle nose pliers. The set is designed for professional use and comes with an EVA foam organizer for storage. It suits technicians and DIY users who need a range of gripping and cutting tools in one kit.

Heat-treated CR-V steel and ergonomic grips

The groove joint, slip joint, linesman and diagonal pliers are made from heat-treated chromium-vanadium steel for strength and ductility, while the needle nose pliers use carbon steel. Ergonomic anti-slip rubber handles are shaped to fit the palm and reduce hand fatigue during extended work. Serrated jaws provide even contact and a strong bite on wires, nuts and screws.

Replaces single pliers for multi-task jobs

This set replaces the need to buy individual pliers for gripping, twisting, cutting and precision work. The 2-position slip joint and 7-position groove joint pliers cover a wide range of jaw widths, so the jump is worth it when you regularly switch between fastener sizes and wire types. Buyers who only need one dedicated plier style for a single repetitive task may find a full set unnecessary.

Questions about this item

How do I position the EVA foam organizer in a standard toolbox drawer, and what step is often missed?

Lay the foam flat, match each plier profile to its cutout, and press the handles down until the steel jaws seat fully — skipping the jaw seating leaves tools loose.

What part of the set will need replacement first with daily professional use?

The rubber grips on the 9.5 inch linesman and 8 inch diagonal pliers wear faster than the CR-V steel jaws, so expect to re-grip those handles before the cutting edges dull.

Which limitation appears first during continuous heavy-grip cycles on the 10 inch groove joint pliers?

The seven-position V-jaw mechanism reaches its maximum spread before the CR-V steel frames show fatigue, limiting the maximum workpiece diameter you can clamp in one session.
