PS5 CFI-1000 1100 1200 heatsink

The SK hynix Haechi H01 is a dedicated NVMe M.2 SSD heatsink designed exclusively for PlayStation 5 consoles using the CFI-1000, CFI-1100 and CFI-1200 model codes. It addresses the console's internal expansion slot cooling requirement with a single-screw mounting system.

Single-screw mounting changes installation

The bundled heatsink replaces the need for separate thermal pads or third-party brackets by integrating the mounting hardware into one captive screw. This reduces installation to a single step and ensures consistent pressure on the SSD controller without extra parts.

Compatible with P41 up to 7000MB/s

The heatsink is validated for SK hynix Platinum P41 drives reaching 7000MB/s sequential throughput, providing thermal headroom for sustained high-speed operation. It does not support other console revisions or SSD form factors, and the drive itself is not included.

Questions about this item

Does the heatsink itself require any replacement or maintenance after installation?

The heatsink is a passive metal part with no moving components, so it does not need replacement or scheduled maintenance once fitted.

What is the first limit reached during sustained heavy write loads on a compatible SSD?

The SSD controller will hit its thermal throttle point before the heatsink reaches any structural limit, reducing speeds to protect the drive.

How much extra noise or heat does the heatsink add when the console runs all day?

It adds zero noise because it has no fan, and it reduces the SSD surface temperature by spreading heat into the console airflow.
