SKB iSeries 0907-6 Case with Think Tank Dividers

SKB iSeries 0907-6 Case

The SKB iSeries 0907-6 is a watertight, dustproof injection-moulded case built for photographers and videographers who transport sensitive equipment. Its shell resists impact and environmental exposure while an automatic pressure equalisation valve balances internal pressure during altitude changes. Two patented trigger latches and metal-reinforced locking loops secure the lid for airline travel. Think Tank designed dividers with hook-and-loop tabs let you configure the interior for specific gear layouts.

Protection limits of the watertight shell

The injection-moulded shell provides a watertight and dustproof seal that keeps out water ingress and particulate matter under normal transport conditions. The automatic ambient pressure equalisation valve prevents vacuum lock without compromising the seal. The case is not rated for prolonged submersion or extreme pressure differentials beyond standard airline cargo holds. Users should verify that the seal remains clean and undamaged before each trip to maintain the rated protection level.

Upgrading from soft bags and unstructured cases

This case replaces soft camera bags and unstructured hard cases that lack a certified watertight seal or pressure valve. The rigid shell and customisable Nylex-wrapped foam liners protect delicate optics and electronics from crushing forces that soft bags cannot resist. The jump is worth it when gear value justifies airline-grade impact resistance and environmental sealing. It is not suited for users who need backpack-style carry or rapid-access compartments for street shooting.
