Skillmatics Snip Snip Activity Book

This activity book contains 25 progressive cutting exercises designed for children aged three to seven. The kit includes two child-safe scissors and a glue stick to complete each paper and felt project. Activities advance from straight lines to curved and zigzag patterns before finishing with shape cutting. It provides a screen-free way to build fine motor skills through hands-on crafting.

Best for preschoolers learning to cut

The set suits parents who want a structured introduction to scissor work with safety tools included. It is not for children who have already mastered advanced cutting techniques or for buyers looking for open-ended art supplies without guided activities. The three difficulty levels may feel repetitive for older children seeking more complex creative challenges.

Ready to use straight from the pack

No assembly is required; the booklet, scissors and glue stick are portable and self-contained. The child-safe scissors limit cutting ability to the provided materials so thicker card or fabric cannot be used. The glue stick can dry out if the cap is left off between sessions. Supervision is still recommended while young children handle the scissors.

Questions about this item

What does the kit include so my child can start the 25 cutting activities right away?

Can a younger sibling use the same scissors and booklet after an older child finishes the activities?

The safety scissors are designed for ages 3 to 7, so a younger sibling within that range can reuse them, though the booklet pages are consumable once cut.
