Skillmatics Snip Snip Felt Craft Kit

This kit contains an activity booklet with 25 cutting projects, two child-safe scissors and one glue stick. It is designed for children aged three to seven who are developing scissor control and fine motor coordination through hands-on craft work.

Progressive difficulty replaces random cutting

The booklet moves from straight lines to curves, zigzags and shape cutting across three levels. The structured sequence is worth it when a child needs clear steps rather than loose paper, and when a parent wants a ready-made progression that builds confidence without extra preparation.

Paper and felt materials set the practical limits

The included sheets are sized for the provided scissors and glue stick, so the activities stay within the kit's own supplies. It is not suited for children who want to cut thicker card, fabric or large-format projects that would require heavier tools or additional materials.

Questions about this item

What size is the activity booklet and will it fit in a standard backpack?

The kit measures 25 mm and weighs .33 kg, so the booklet and accessories fit easily in a standard backpack.

How do I start the 25 cutting activities and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Begin with the straight-line pages in the booklet, use the two child-safe scissors provided, and avoid jumping to curved or zigzag patterns before mastering the first level.

Which parts will need replacing after the 25 activities are finished?

The glue stick will run out first; the two safety scissors and the felt pieces can be reused for new projects.
