Skytech Archangel 5 Gaming Desktop

This Skytech Archangel 5 gaming desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card. The system ships with 16GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed for immediate use.

AM5 Platform Limits

The AMD Ryzen 7 7700X uses the AM5 socket and supports DDR5 5200 memory. The motherboard chipset is AMD B650, which provides USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and USB 3.2 Gen1 connectivity. Wireless networking uses WI-FI 5 802.11ac only.

RTX 5070 12 GB GDDR7 VRAM

The graphics card carries 12 GB of GDDR7 video memory, which determines the texture and frame-buffer capacity available for 4K gaming and creative workloads. Buyers who need more VRAM for heavy rendering should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1TB NVMe or add a second drive?

The system ships with a single 1TB NVMe SSD and no HDD; adding a second M.2 drive later is possible if the motherboard has a free slot, but the supplied capacity is fixed at 1TB.

What does the 5.4GHz turbo mean for gaming?

The Ryzen 7 7700X can boost a single core to 5.4GHz, giving high frame rates in lightly threaded titles while the 8-core design keeps background tasks smooth.

How does Wi-Fi 5 802.11ac limit my network speed?

Wi-Fi 5 caps real-world throughput well below a wired 1Gbps link, so competitive play or large downloads benefit from using the Ethernet port instead.
