Skytech Shadow Gaming Desktop

The Skytech Shadow ST-SHADOW4-2744-B-AL is a pre-built gaming desktop that pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 5700 processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics card. It ships with Windows 11 Home, 16GB of DDR4 3200 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD for fast storage. A 650W Gold-rated power supply and air cooler handle power and thermals.

Suits 1080p and 1440p players; not for 4K ultra

This system targets gamers who want high frame rates at 1080p or 1440p resolution with modern titles. The 8GB GDDR6 frame buffer and Ryzen 7 5700 8-core CPU deliver strong performance in that bracket. Buyers who need 4K ultra settings, heavy video editing headroom or more than 16GB of memory should look at a higher-tier configuration.

8GB GDDR6 VRAM decides 1440p viability

The RTX 5060 Ti ships with 8GB of GDDR6 video memory, which is the single specification that determines whether this card can hold high-resolution textures at 1440p without paging to system RAM. If your favourite games regularly exceed 8GB VRAM at your target settings, this GPU will become the bottleneck.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1TB NVMe or add a larger drive later?

The system ships with a single 1TB NVMe SSD and no HDD, so the included capacity is fixed at 1TB unless you install an additional drive yourself.

What does the Ryzen 7 5700 at 3.7GHz base and 4.6GHz turbo deliver in everyday gaming?

Eight cores running at 3.7GHz base with a 4.6GHz boost clock give strong single-thread and multi-thread performance for current titles at 1080p and 1440p.

Which USB standards are on the front and rear panels?

The chassis provides USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and USB 3.2 Gen1 ports for peripherals and external storage.
