Manual retracting ceramic box opener

The Slice 50322 is a compact manual-retracting box cutter with a 100% zirconium oxide blade. Its finger-friendly edge is designed to open packaging without cutting skin. The ceramic blade stays sharp up to 11 times longer than metal and will not rust. A built-in magnet allows convenient storage on metal surfaces.

Left and right-hand users needing a safe utility

The lightweight design suits home, office or on-the-go use for opening boxes, food packaging, plastic containers and clamshells. The non-toxic, glass-filled nylon handle provides a secure grip. Buyers who want an automatic retract mechanism or a multi-pack should consider other options.

Zirconium oxide blade lasting 11x longer than metal

The ceramic blade rates 8.2 on the Mohs hardness scale versus 5.5 for metal, so it maintains its edge for weeks or months without replacement. This single specification determines whether the cutter meets your durability requirements.
