Active Learning Stool

The SlickBlue wobble stool lets children and adults rock and swivel in every direction while keeping core muscles engaged. Its octagonal seat uses a PP frame coated with silicone for a cool, comfortable surface. The pneumatic rod adjusts the seat height between 16.5" and 24" without tools. The stool arrives fully assembled and weighs 10 lbs.

Home Office and Classroom Use

This stool suits anyone who wants active sitting that encourages posture changes during desk work or study sessions. Buyers who need a fixed-height chair, a backrest, or arm support should look at a different seating style. The minimum adjusting weight of 66 lbs means very light users may not trigger the height mechanism.

250 lbs Load Capacity

The frame supports a maximum loaded weight of 250 lbs, which decides whether the stool can safely accommodate the intended user. The 13" by 13" base footprint and non-slip silicone bottom protect floors while keeping the seat stable during movement.

Questions about this item

How does the 16.5" to 24" height range translate when the stool is actually being used?

The pneumatic rod lets you raise or lower the seat anywhere between 16.5 inches and 24 inches, so children over seven and adults can set it to a comfortable desk or table height.

What does the pneumatic rod actually control, and are there any limits on who can adjust it?

The rod provides smooth, stepless height changes within the 16.5"-24" range, but the mechanism only engages once at least 66 lbs of weight is on the seat.

What floor space and clearance does the 13" x 13" footprint need?

The octagonal base measures 13 inches by 13 inches and weighs 10 lbs, so it fits under most desks and the non-slip silicone bottom protects hard floors.
