Right-Facing Velvet Armchair for Toddlers

The SlickBlue kids armchair is a right-facing seat upholstered in blue velvet with a soft sponge filling. It is sized for children aged 0 to 5 years and supports up to 110 lbs. The lightweight frame weighs only 5 lbs so a child can move it between rooms without help.

Upgrade from Floor Cushions or Adult Furniture

This chair replaces floor cushions or oversized adult sofas that offer no back support for small bodies. The jump is worth it when a toddler needs a dedicated spot with a supportive backrest and armrests to encourage proper sitting posture during reading or screen time.

Fits Playrooms and Bedrooms Without Assembly

The compact footprint of 25.5" x 17.5" x 20.5" slides into corners or beside a bed without dominating the space. A removable zippered cover allows machine washing when spills happen, freeing parents from spot-cleaning chores. The rounded corners reduce bumps during active play.

Questions about this item

How much floor space does the 25.5 by 17.5 inch chair need?

The armchair footprint is 25.5 inches long by 17.5 inches wide, so allow at least that much clear floor area plus a little room for a child to climb in and out.

How do I remove the velvet cover for washing without damaging the zipper?

Unzip the smooth zipper fully before pulling the cover off the sponge core; forcing it partially closed can snag the fabric or bend the teeth.

When will the high-density sponge filling need replacing under normal use?

The thick sponge is designed not to deform or collapse easily, and with a 110 lb weight capacity it should last through the recommended 0-5 year age range.
