Kids sofa with armrest and thick cushion

The SlickBlue kids sofa is a scaled-down accent chair built for children. It measures 23 x 16.5 x 21.5 inches overall with a 12-inch seat height and 3.5-inch thick cushion. A solid beech wood frame supports up to 165 lbs. The design includes a 15 x 10 inch seat, 15 x 12.5 inch backrest, and 15-inch armrest height for supported sitting during reading or screen time.

Check space and user fit before ordering

Verify the 23-inch length and 16.5-inch width suit the intended room area. Confirm the 12-inch seat height matches the child's leg length for comfortable floor contact. The 15-inch armrest height and 15 x 12.5 inch backrest dimensions determine postural support. Ensure the 165 lb capacity covers the expected user weight. The linen cover over sponge padding is the only upholstery option described.

Replaces floor cushions

This sofa upgrades from sitting on the floor or using oversized adult furniture that offers no back support. The ergonomic backrest and armrests promote posture that floor cushions cannot. The low 12-inch seat height reduces rollover risk compared to higher chairs. The jump is worth it when a child needs a dedicated, stable seat for daily activities like drawing or watching TV. Not suited for children exceeding the 165 lb limit or for use as a primary lounger by teenagers or adults.
