Dual-band USB 3.0 Wi-Fi 5 adapter with two 5 dBi antennas delivers up to 867 Mbps on 5.8 GHz and 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz for Windows and Mac
This USB 3.0 Wi-Fi adapter adds dual-band wireless connectivity to a desktop computer. It supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) with a maximum link rate of 1300Mbps. The adapter is compatible with Windows XP through Windows 10 and Mac OS, making it suitable for older and current systems alike.
The adapter uses a USB 3.0 interface and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports. Windows 10 supports plug-and-play operation, while other listed operating systems require a driver installation from the supplied CD or an online link. Verify your system has an available USB port and matches the supported OS list.
Two external 5dBi high-gain antennas rotate 360 degrees to optimise signal reception and transmission through walls. The USB 3.0 interface provides up to 10 times the bus bandwidth of USB 2.0, reducing a potential bottleneck for the 867Mbps 5.8GHz and 400Mbps 2.4GHz wireless links. WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption secure the connection.

The 5.8 GHz band delivers up to 867 Mbps while the 2.4 GHz band tops out at 400 Mbps, so use 5.8 GHz for maximum speed.
It represents the combined theoretical ceiling of 867 Mbps on 5.8 GHz plus 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz; actual throughput will be lower and depends on router capability and signal conditions.
