Compact coiled USB-C cable for mobile kits

The SMALLRIG 4792 is a 35 cm coiled USB-C to USB-C cable with a straight plug on one end and a 90 degree angled plug on the other. It handles 20 Gbps data transfer and carries up to 100 W of USB Power Delivery 3.0 current. The spring construction keeps the cable tidy in a bag or on a desk while remaining flexible enough for daily connection and disconnection.

Suits photographers and video makers who want

Creators who move cameras, phones or tablets between rigs will appreciate the coiled form factor and the angled connector that clears tight ports. Builders who need a longer reach for desktop peripherals or a straight-to-straight layout should look at other cables because this model is fixed at 35 cm and only offered in the straight-to-angled orientation.

35 cm coiled length with straight and angled ends

The physical length and connector geometry are the decisive details: the cable extends to roughly 35 cm when stretched and retracts into a compact coil, while the 90 degree plug reduces strain on side-mounted ports. If your setup demands a different length or both ends straight, this is not the correct part.

Questions about this item

Does the 35 cm coiled cable include both the straight and angled USB-C connectors, or must I buy an adapter separately?

The cable ships with one straight and one 90-degree USB-C plug already attached; no extra adapter is required.

Should I pick the 35 cm model or one of the longer coiled versions such as the 1.15–3.28 ft range?

Choose the 35 cm coil when you need a short, tidy link for desk or rig use; select a longer coil if you need extra reach across a vehicle or larger workspace.

What does the 20 Gbps rating actually deliver when I plug this into my laptop?

It provides USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 throughput for fast file transfers and carries up to 100 W of power for charging compatible laptops.
