Quick-attach strap system

The SmallRig Rapid Link Connectors with Base PAC2421 kit lets photographers and videographers convert any third-party camera strap under 19 mm wide into a quick-release setup. Two bases and two connectors create a secure link that supports equipment up to 154.32 lbs while adding minimal bulk.

Width and weight limits

The connectors accept straps narrower than 19 mm, so wider webbing will not fit the slots. Each connector weighs .07 oz and the combined kit weighs .25 oz, keeping the load light for long shooting sessions without exceeding the stated capacity.

Check your strap width

Before ordering, measure your existing strap to confirm it is under 19 mm wide. The system is designed for this specific width range and will not accommodate broader straps or proprietary mounting points that differ from standard webbing.

Questions about this item

Which strap widths does the Rapid Link kit accept?

The connectors work with any third-party camera strap narrower than 19 mm, turning it into a quick-attach system.

What does the 154.32 lb load rating mean in practice?

Each connector set is tested to hold gear weighing up to 154.32 lbs, far above typical camera-and-lens combinations.

How does the Rapid Link interface limit real-world use?

The proprietary Rapid Link bases and connectors only mate with each other, so you cannot mix them with other quick-release systems.
