Expanding Wallet 5.25 Inch Expansion

This Smead 71073 Redrope expanding wallet suits anyone who must carry bulky paperwork between home, school or office. The 5.25 inch expansion holds thick files while the protective flap keeps contents secure. Durable Redrope material with Tyvek reinforcement resists daily wear. It is a practical choice for organising letters and large documents.

Simple Tie Closure and Flat Storage

The cloth tape tie fastens quickly without tools or adhesives. The wallet ships flat so it fits in a drawer until needed. Users sometimes overtighten the tie, which can stress the reinforced top edge over time. Aligning papers before closing prevents the flap from catching on uneven stacks.

Check Paper Size and Volume Needs

Verify that your documents match the 8.50 by 11 inch letter format before ordering. The 5.25 inch expansion depth determines maximum capacity, so estimate the thickest file you plan to store. Buyers who need legal-size pockets or a rigid binder mechanism should look elsewhere. The 30 percent post-consumer content meets SFI certification requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 5.25" expansion is functioning after I start using it?

Load the wallet until the sides reach the 5.25" gusset limit; the Tyvek-reinforced top and cloth tape tie should hold the contents securely without tearing.

What comes in the package and what must I buy separately?

The box contains one expanding wallet with its protective flap and cloth tie already attached; no additional items are required for basic use.

Should I choose the 5.25" expansion version or a smaller capacity for letter-size documents?

Select the 5.25" expansion model when you need maximum bulk storage for letter-size 8.50" x 11" papers; choose a smaller gusset only if you regularly carry thinner files.
