Desk Pad for Keyboard and Mouse

The Smead vegan leather desk pad measures 23.6 inches wide by 13.7 inches deep, giving enough room for a full-size keyboard and mouse. Its rectangular shape and light blue finish suit home offices and corporate desks alike. The 67 percent PVC vegan leather top resists daily wear while the 33 percent faux suede backing adds a soft touch.

Surface Protection and Daily Use

The top layer shields the desk from keyboard scratches and water marks, and the faux suede base keeps the pad from sliding on smooth surfaces. At 0.07 inches thick it stays flat without raising the typing height noticeably. The non-refillable construction means the pad is replaced as a single unit when worn.

Material Mix Decides Fit

The 67/33 split between PVC vegan leather and faux suede determines how the pad feels, cleans and ages. Buyers who want a fully biodegradable or recycled-content surface will need a different product. The dimensions and material blend together define whether this pad matches the workspace.

Questions about this item

How does the 0.07" thickness affect mouse tracking and writing feel?

The slim 0.07" profile keeps the surface firm for precise mouse movement while still giving a smooth, cushioned feel for writing.

What are the exact dimensions I need to clear on my desk for the 23.6x13.7" pad?

You need a flat rectangular area at least 23.6 inches wide by 13.7 inches deep; the pad sits directly on the surface with no mounting hardware.

Can I just unroll the vegan leather pad and start working, or is there a break-in step?

Unroll it and lay it flat; the faux suede backing grips the desk immediately so no adhesive or curing time is required.
