Complete sushi kit for home chefs

This 28-piece set includes bamboo rolling mats, a sushi bazooka, nigiri and gunkan molds, a musubi maker, rice ball mold, avocado slicer, knife, chopsticks, sauce dishes, rice paddles, basting brush and a cotton storage bag. An instruction book guides beginners through each step of the process. Everything packs into a single gift box for tidy storage.

Check your kitchen space and habits

The box measures 10 in by 2.5 in by 2.5 in, so confirm you have a drawer or shelf that fits those dimensions. All components are dishwasher safe, which simplifies cleanup but requires dishwasher capacity for 28 items. The kit is designed for traditional rolled and pressed sushi styles rather than large-party platters.

Natural bamboo handles heat and moisture well

Bamboo construction resists splintering and unraveling during repeated washing and rolling. The material stays cool to the touch when shaping warm rice and does not retain odours between uses. Lightweight tools reduce hand fatigue during extended prep sessions, and the soft edges protect non-stick cookware.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 28-piece kit and do I need to buy anything extra to start making sushi?

The kit contains 2 bamboo mats, a sushi bazooka, avocado slicer, sushi knife, 5 chopsticks, 2 sauce dishes, 2 rice paddles, 5 chopstick holders, cutting mold, nigiri mold, gunkan mold, triangle onigiri mold, musubi mold, rice ball mold, basting brush, cotton bag, user guide and storage gift box. No extra tools are required to begin.

The kit is sold as a single 28-piece set — are there alternative capacities or versions to choose from?

Only the 28-piece configuration with model number 1008 is offered. There are no smaller or larger piece-count versions listed for this product.

At 10 x 2.5 x 2.5 inches, how much counter space does the assembled kit actually need when I am rolling and cutting?
