Five small cylindrical M16 to SC fiber adapters with 2.5mm ferrules in a row

SMUGDESK

SMUGDESK 5 Pack M16 to SC Fiber Optic Adapter 2.5mm

SKU CH-0P37-AMTWX

Set of five M16 to SC adapters with 2.5mm ferrules for connecting SC patch cords to M16 optical power meters during fiber testing

  • Five adapters connect M16 power meters to SC patch cords
  • 5 mm ferrule ensures low insertion loss for accurate readings
  • Precision alignment maintains stable optical coupling during field tests
  • Solid housing protects ceramic ferrule from dust and impact
  • Quick attach design speeds FTTH and network maintenance work

Five-piece M16 to SC adapter set

This pack contains five M16 to SC conversion adapters with a standard 2.5mm ferrule interface. They connect an M16 optical power meter to SC fiber patch cords for field testing and network maintenance. The set suits technicians working on FTTH engineering, communication wiring and fiber inspection tasks.

M16 interface compatibility requirement

The adapter only fits optical power meters that use an M16 port. Buyers must verify their meter adopts this interface before use; other port types will not mate with the connector. Dust or scratches on the ceramic ferrule will degrade measurement accuracy.

Low insertion loss for stable measurements

Precision machining keeps insertion loss low so optical power readings remain accurate during repeated field tests. The solid housing shields internal alignment components from dust and minor impacts. Clean end faces and careful handling preserve performance over time.

Questions about this item

What does the 2.5mm ferrule size mean when I connect an SC patch cord to my power meter?

The 2.5mm ferrule matches the standard SC connector, so the adapter aligns the fibre core directly with your meter's detector for accurate power readings.

How does the M16 interface affect which meters this adapter fits?

The adapter screws onto any optical power meter that has an M16 port, letting you plug in standard SC jumpers for testing.

What physical space do I need to attach the adapter to my meter and plug in a patch cord?

The compact solid housing adds minimal length to the meter's M16 port, leaving enough clearance for a standard SC connector to latch securely.
