This SMUGDESK PCIe card adds eight independent RS485/RS422 COM ports to an industrial PC or server. It supports half-duplex 2-wire and full-duplex 4-wire modes with a maximum baud rate of 921.6kbps and transmission distances up to 1200m. Each channel connects up to 31 slave devices on a single bus.

Detachable Terminal Blocks & Multi-Layer Protection

Removable terminal blocks allow rapid on-site wiring and maintenance without soldering. Every port features independent opto-isolation plus TVS diode, lightning surge and ±15KV ESD protection, plus a selectable 120 ohm termination resistor to suppress ground loops and industrial voltage spikes.

Standard PCIe Installation with Flexible Brackets

The card fits any standard PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and includes both full-height and low-profile brackets for 2U chassis.
