8K@60Hz HDMI 2.1 Adapter

This HDMI male-to-female adapter complies with the HDMI 2.1 specification and delivers 48Gbps bandwidth for 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz signals. It suits gamers, content creators and home-theater users who need to extend or convert an existing HDMI connection without signal degradation. Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation and minimise loss in electrically noisy environments.

Plug-and-play installation

No drivers or external power are required; simply connect the adapter between the source and display. The compact form factor fits tight spaces behind monitors, consoles or projectors. The only common issue is using cables that do not meet the same ultra-high-speed rating, which can limit resolution or cause drop-outs at the highest refresh rates.

Bandwidth and cable limits

The adapter passes the full 48Gbps specified by HDMI 2.1, enabling 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, Dynamic HDR, eARC and 3D formats. Actual performance depends on the quality and length of the cables on both sides; ultra-high-speed certified cables are needed to realise the stated resolutions and refresh rates. Longer passive runs may not sustain the maximum data rate.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering 8K at 60Hz after connecting it?

Check your display settings or on-screen menu to verify the active resolution reads 8K and the refresh rate shows 60Hz; a stable image with no flicker or black screens confirms the 48Gbps link is working.

What comes in the box and do I need any extra cables or power supplies?

The package contains the HDMI male-to-female adapter only; no external power supply or driver is required, but you must provide your own HDMI cables to connect source and display.

Should I choose this adapter for a 4K 120Hz gaming setup or only for 8K 60Hz?

It supports both — 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz — so it suits high-refresh-rate gaming as well as 8K media playback.
