Braided USB-C cable with 90-degree angled connectors, 3.3 ft length

SMUGDESK

SMUGDESK 90 Degree Braided USB4.0 C to C Cable 3.3FT

SKU CH-CG9K-BNG2P

A 90-degree braided USB-C cable delivering up to 240W charging, 40Gbps data and single 8K@60Hz video over 3.3FT

Cable Length 3.3 Feet

  • Charges up to 240W with PD 3.1
  • Transfers data at 40Gbps USB4 Gen3x2
  • Drives single 8K@60Hz or dual 4K@60Hz displays
  • 90° braided connector fits tight spaces
  • 3FT length suits desk and travel use

Right-angle USB4 cable for tight spaces

This 3.3 ft USB4 cable uses a 90-degree USB-C connector on each end so it routes cleanly along device edges. It suits users who need full USB4 bandwidth and 240 W charging in cramped desk setups, behind monitors or inside docking stations.

Check port orientation

Ensure both host and peripheral have USB-C ports that accept a right-angle plug without blocking adjacent ports. The cable delivers up to 240 W (48 V / 5 A) only when paired with a PD 3.1 charger and a device that supports Extended Power Range; otherwise it negotiates lower voltages such as 140 W, 100 W or 60 W.

Replaces straight USB-C cables that snag or protrude

The angled heads eliminate the bend radius that damages straight cables over time, making the upgrade worthwhile for daily-carry laptops, eGPU enclosures or 8 K @ 60 Hz display links. It also supersedes 20 Gbps Gen 2 cables when 40 Gbps Gen 3x2 throughput is required for dual 4 K @ 60 Hz or large data moves.

Questions about this item

Does the 3.3FT cable include a power adapter or only the USB-C to USB-C cord?

The box contains the 90-degree braided USB4 cable with USB-C male connectors on both ends; a compatible PD 3.1 charger must be purchased separately to reach 240W.

When should I choose this 40Gbps USB4 Gen 3x2 cable instead of a 20Gbps Gen 2 version?

Pick this cable when you need single 8K@60Hz or dual 4K@60Hz video, 40Gbps data with eGPU, or 240W charging; Gen 2 tops out at 20Gbps and lower power.

What does the 40Gbps rating deliver when the cable is connected to a Thunderbolt 4 dock and a 16-inch laptop?

It provides full 40Gbps bi-directional bandwidth for 8K@60Hz or dual 4K@60Hz displays and up to 240W PD 3.1 charging, limited only by the host and dock capabilities.
