What this cable delivers

This SMUGDESK PD100W cable carries 20Gbps data, 100W power and 4K 60Hz video over a USB-C connection. It suits anyone linking a laptop, tablet, phone or portable SSD to a monitor, dock or charger that uses the same port type.

What to verify first

Your host and display must both have USB-C ports that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video to work. The connected devices also need USB 3.2 capability to reach the 20Gbps transfer rate, and both ends must accept 100W Power Delivery for maximum charging speed.

What the built-in E-Marker chip changes

The integrated E-Marker negotiates PD 3.0, PD 2.0, QC 3.0, QC 2.0 and Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging so the cable delivers the correct voltage up to 20V/5A without user intervention. It also enables the full 20Gbps bandwidth and 4K 60Hz or 2K 144Hz video modes when the linked hardware supports them.

Does the 2-pack include only the two USB-C cables or are power adapters also supplied?

The listing mentions 20 Gbps and 100 W — which version should I pick if I need both maximum speed and full power delivery?

Will the 4K 60 Hz video output work when I connect my laptop to a monitor using this cable?

Yes, provided both the laptop and the monitor have USB-C ports that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode, the cable can carry 4K at 60 Hz.
