Super Speed USB 3.0 extension for remote device

This SMUGDESK cable extends a USB 3.0 connection by 6.6 ft or 2 m so peripherals can be positioned away from the host computer. It carries the USB 3.0 Super Speed signal for compatible flash drives, hard drives, card readers, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, cameras and consoles such as PlayStation and Xbox. The 1.65 ft reference in the supplier data describes a different length; this listing is for the 6.6 ft version. The cable is new and ready for immediate use.

Users who need a longer reach for standard USB 3.0

The cable suits setups where the computer port is out of reach for a device’s own lead, such as a VR headset sensor, a console accessory or a desk-mounted hub. It does not add power delivery beyond the host port’s standard capability, so devices that require an external power supply will still need one. Buyers who need a shorter cable or a different connector type should select another product.
