SMUGDESK USB 3.0 Extension Cable Male to Female 10ft 2 Pack

SKU CH-KG20-ST63C

Two 10-foot USB 3.0 Type A male-to-female cables extend connections for peripherals such as keyboards, printers and cameras

Cable Length 10 Feet

  • 2 cables per pack for multiple device setups
  • 10 ft length extends USB connections across the room
  • USB 3.0 speed keeps data transfer fast over distance
  • Type A male to female fits standard USB ports
  • Works with VR headsets, consoles, drives and peripherals

Two cables each ten feet long

This pack contains two USB 3.0 extension cables, each ten feet in length. They feature a Type-A male connector on one end and a Type-A female port on the other. The cables are designed to extend the reach of USB peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers, cameras, flash drives and hard drives. They are also compatible with PlayStation, Xbox and Oculus VR devices.

Simple plug-and-play connection

Installation requires no drivers or software; just plug the male end into the host port and connect the device cable to the female end. The ten-foot length provides flexibility for routing around furniture or across a room. Signal quality can degrade if the combined cable run exceeds the USB 3.0 specification limit, so keep the total distance as short as practical for high-speed drives.

Suits users needing longer reach

This two-pack suits anyone who needs to position USB devices farther from their computer or console than the standard cable allows. It is not intended for buyers who require an active repeater cable for runs beyond the passive USB 3.0 distance limit. Users needing USB-C or Micro-B connectors should look at a different product.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 10ft cables are delivering USB 3.0 speeds after connecting my hard drive?

Check that your operating system reports a SuperSpeed connection and run a file transfer; speeds should be noticeably faster than USB 2.0 limits.

What comes in the box and do I need any extra adapters for my PlayStation or Xbox?

The package contains two 10ft USB 3.0 Type-A male-to-female extension cables; no extra adapters are required for standard Type-A ports on consoles or PCs.

Should I choose the 10ft pair or the 1.5ft pair for my Oculus VR setup?

Pick the 10ft pair if you need room-scale movement away from the PC; the 1.5ft pair only adds a short reach for desk-level devices.
