USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cable for SSD and fast charging

This USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cable connects external SSDs and hard drives to a USB-A port at 10 Gbps. It also delivers 60 W fast charging for laptops, tablets and phones. The 90-degree connector reduces strain in tight spaces and the braided jacket resists daily wear.

Suits users with USB-A ports needing speed and power

Buyers whose hosts only offer USB-C ports cannot use this Type-A plug without an adapter. Devices that require more than 60 W or 3 A will not charge at full speed. The 1.6 ft length limits reach for desktop setups where the port is far from the device.

10 Gbps data rate with 60 W power delivery

The cable carries USB 3.2 Gen 2 at 10 Gbps (1250 MB/s) and supports 60 W QC 3.0 charging. A 56 kΩ resistor ensures safe negotiation with compliant hosts. Metal connectors and a 90-degree bend complete the specification.

Questions about this item

What comes in the package and is anything else required?

The pack contains two 6.6 ft USB 3.2 Gen 2 cables with 90-degree connectors; no extra items are needed for data or 60 W charging.

Should I pick the 1.6 ft or 6.6 ft version for a desktop SSD dock?

The 6.6 ft length gives comfortable reach to a floor-standing tower while keeping the 10 Gbps rate and 60 W power delivery.

Will the 10 Gbps rating hold up when I copy large video files to an external SSD?

Yes, the cable supports 10 Gbps (1250 MB/s) transfer and 3 A current, so sustained reads and writes stay at full speed.
