High-power USB-A to USB-C cable
The SMUGDESK cable carries up to 120W at 6A when paired with a matching Power Delivery charger. It uses a USB 2.0 data lane rated at 480Mbps, moving a 1GB file in about 30 seconds. The 6.6ft length suits desktop and bedside charging alike. No video output is supported.
Build fit and freedoms
A standard USB-A port on a charger, hub or laptop is all the host side needs. The USB-C plug serves phones, tablets, laptops, a Switch or a Steam Deck without extra adapters. Nylon braiding and a zinc-alloy shell survive 36000 bend cycles, so the cord stays in a bag or on a desk without fraying. Data transfer is limited to USB 2.0 speeds.
Thermals noise and power
Passive copper conductors generate no fan noise and add negligible heat to a charging setup. The cable handles the full 120W PD negotiation without throttling in normal indoor use. No active cooling or external power is required beyond the host charger. Cable warmth stays low during typical phone or laptop top-ups.
