USB C Extension Cable 6.6FT 2 Pack

This SMUGDESK USB C extension cable set includes two 6.6FT male-to-female cords that extend USB Type-C connections for charging, data and video. Each cable carries USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds up to 10Gbps and supports Power Delivery up to 100W for laptops, tablets and phones. A built-in E-Marker chip manages safe power negotiation while the nylon braided jacket and reinforced strain relief are rated for 20000-plus bends.

Suits USB-C devices needing extra reach

Users who want to place a MacBook Pro, Dell XPS, iPad Pro, Nintendo Switch or Samsung Galaxy phone further from a charger, dock or external SSD will gain 6.6 feet of slack without losing 4K 60Hz video or 10Gbps throughput. Builders who need longer runs, multiple video lanes beyond a single 4K stream, or connectors other than USB Type-C male-to-female should look at different cable types.

10Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rate

The single specification that decides fit is the 10Gbps SuperSpeed+ rating: it guarantees 4K 3840x2160 at 60Hz video, 100W charging and fast file transfers through the extension. If your workflow demands higher bandwidth, alternate display protocols or a different connector gender, this cable will not meet those requirements.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the cable delivers 10Gbps speeds and 100W charging after connecting it?

Check that your host and device both support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and PD 3.0, then verify the negotiated rate in your OS or with a USB-C meter during a large file transfer and while charging at high wattage.

What comes in the package and is anything else required to use it?

Two 6.6FT USB-C male-to-female extension cables are included; no extra parts are needed as the E-Marker chip handles power negotiation automatically.

Should I choose the single-cable or two-pack version for my setup?

The listed product is a two-pack of 6.6FT cables; pick it if you need extensions in two locations or want a spare, otherwise a single cable would suffice.
