Who this massager fits

The Snailax SLY-527 is a corded electric foot massager designed for users who want Shiatsu kneading, air compression and heat in one unit. It targets people dealing with plantar fasciitis, neuropathy or general foot fatigue after long periods of standing or walking. The device accommodates up to size 13 feet and weighs 3.1 kilograms.

What to confirm before ordering

You need a nearby mains socket because the unit runs on corded electric power only and has no battery. The footprint measures 15.94 by 13.58 inches with a height of 7.36 inches, so check that your intended spot can hold those dimensions. The fabric is polyester and the product is not water resistant, so keep liquids away.

What it replaces and when to upgrade

This model replaces a basic vibrating foot pad or a single-function heated mat by adding three compression levels, three vibration speeds and independent heat up to 131F. The jump is worth it if you need combined deep-kneading rollers plus adjustable compression on the instep, heel and ankles. Buyers who only want simple vibration or who require a battery-powered portable unit should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the SLY-527 arrive ready to use or do I need to buy a power cord separately?

The massager is corded electric and ships with its own mains lead, so no separate power cord is required.

The specs list both SLY-527 and 522SP — which model should I choose?

They are the same unit; 522SP is an alternate part number for the SLY-527, so either reference points to the identical foot massager.

What does the 131F heat figure mean when the machine is running on my feet?

The heaters can reach up to 131F, with separate high and low settings that can operate independently of the massage functions.
