What SHOCK TROOPERS Is

SHOCK TROOPERS is a 2D top-down action shooting game originally released on NEOGEO MVS in 1997. It is now available as a downloadable PC title on Steam from SNK CORPORATION. Players choose from eight mercenary characters to rescue hostages from the Bloody Scorpions terrorist group. The game supports solo and online co-op play for two players.

Check Your Setup Before Ordering

A Steam account is required to activate and install the game code. The minimum Windows requirements include Windows Vista, 7, or 8 operating systems. You need a Pentium 4 2.4Ghz processor, 1 GB RAM, and Intel HD Graphics. DirectX version 9.0c must be installed on your system.

Who This Suits And Who Should Look Elsewhere

This product suits fans of classic arcade shooters and retro NEOGEO titles seeking a digital re-release. It also fits players wanting online cooperative gameplay with a partner. Buyers who prefer physical media or DRM-free game files should consider other options. Gamers requiring modern 3D graphics or single-player campaigns without arcade structure may not enjoy this title.
