5×5 inch self-sealing cellophane bags

The Soarvita 0418-5 pack contains 100 clear OPP bags measuring 5×5 inches (12.7 cm) with a 2.5 mil thickness. They are designed for home bakers, crafters and small businesses that need quick, professional packaging for cookies, candy, jewellery or small gifts. The self-adhesive flap closes without twist ties or heat sealers.

Moisture barrier and tear resistance

The 2.5 mil OPP film is 25% thicker than standard 2.0 mil bags and resists tearing or leaking during handling and shipping. Reinforced edges prevent accidental splits even when bags are packed full. The wide adhesive strip creates an airtight seal that keeps contents fresh and protected from dust and moisture.

Ready-to-use packaging for multiple purposes

Each bag arrives flat and lightweight (0.091 kg per 100-count pack) for compact storage. The crystal-clear material shows contents without opening, suiting retail displays, holiday favour bags, bath bombs, cards or craft supplies. The peel-and-stick closure allows repeated opening and closing for portioned snacks or long-term organisation.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the 2.5 mil OPP bag correctly, and what step causes the seal to fail?

Remove the protective strip from the adhesive flap, press the bag contents flat, then fold and press the flap firmly across the full 12.7 cm width; skipping the content-flattening step leaves air pockets that break the seal.

When will the self-adhesive strip lose its grip and need replacement?

The adhesive is designed for repeated peel-and-stick cycles; replace individual bags when the strip no longer holds after several openings or when the 2.5 mil OPP film shows stress whitening at the reinforced edges.

What is the first limit reached when the bags are used continuously for hot baked goods?

The 2.5 mil OPP material softens above typical food-safe temperatures, so the seal becomes the first limit — it can release if contents exceed warm room temperature for extended periods.
