SocketScan S720 Barcode Reader

The SocketScan S720 is a handheld barcode reader built for point-of-sale and inventory workflows. It reads standard 1D and 2D symbols including QR codes. A yellow housing makes the device easy to spot on a busy counter. The unit is supplied new and ready for immediate deployment.

Suits mobile and fixed POS setups

Auto-scan presentation mode lets staff scan items without pressing a trigger, speeding up checkout lines. Bluetooth connectivity pairs with iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux hosts. Businesses that need a rugged, gun-style form factor or an integrated display should evaluate other models.

Auto-scan presentation mode

This single feature decides fit: the reader continuously scans when a barcode enters its field of view, removing the need for manual triggering. If your workflow requires deliberate, button-activated scans only, the automatic mode may not match the process.
