SocketScan S720 Bluetooth Scanner

The SocketScan S720 is a Bluetooth barcode scanner that reads both 1D and 2D codes on paper and screens. It is built for retail, inventory and field-service workers who need a lightweight, cordless device for all-day scanning tasks.

Reads 1D and 2D barcodes on paper and screens

The single specification that decides fit is the imager’s ability to capture linear and matrix codes from printed labels and digital displays alike. If your workflow only uses 1D barcodes, a simpler laser scanner may cost less; if you must read QR or DataMatrix codes on phone screens, this imager is required.

Bluetooth pairing with field-replaceable battery

Pairing uses standard Bluetooth Classic to iOS, Android or Windows 10 hosts and the rechargeable battery swaps in seconds without tools. The main installation friction is initial Bluetooth bonding on managed Windows devices, which may need IT assistance to allow the HID profile.
