Product scope

SoftMaker FlexiPDF 2025 is a Windows PDF editor licensed for three devices and delivered as a download. It targets home and small-business users who need to create, edit, fill, sign and protect PDF files without a subscription. The software runs on Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7 and supports terminal-server environments such as Citrix XenApp and Microsoft Terminal Server. Buyers who require macOS or Linux compatibility cannot use this licence.

Thermals, noise and power

As a software download the product generates no physical heat, acoustic noise or additional power draw beyond the host computer's normal operation. Installation adds only application files and a virtual printer driver, leaving system thermals and fan behaviour unchanged. There are no hardware components to cool or power independently.

Bundled impact

The package includes a virtual printer that creates PDFs from any printable Windows application, plus built-in OCR that converts scanned pages into searchable and editable documents. Export filters turn PDFs into Word, TextMaker, image, HTML and ePUB formats, while form-design tools let users build static or interactive forms. Digital-signature and AES encryption features secure finished files for archival or legal use.

Questions about this item

How do I install FlexiPDF 2025 on Windows 11 after downloading it?

Run the downloaded installer on Windows 11, 10, 8 or 7 and follow the on-screen prompts. Activate the licence on up to three devices using the same account. The virtual printer installs automatically so any printable application can create PDFs.

Will the OCR engine or digital-signature certificates need updating later?

OCR runs locally and does not require separate engine updates. Digital signatures rely on your own certificate files; renew those with your certificate authority when they expire. The application itself receives functional updates from SoftMaker.

What is the first limit I hit when editing a large scanned PDF on Windows 7?

Windows 7 is the oldest supported operating system, so memory and processor constraints of that platform will appear before any application-imposed page or file-size ceiling. Citrix XenApp and Terminal Server environments share the same system resources.
