Outdoor TV protection for flat panels

The Solaire SOL70G cover shields a flat panel display from rain, dust, sunlight and mildew while it sits outside. Marine grade fabric and a neutral gray finish help the cover blend into deck or patio settings. A zippered closure keeps the enclosure secure during wind or storms. A dedicated remote control pocket stores the handset within reach.

Weather resistance and thermal behaviour

Water resistant fabric prevents moisture from reaching the screen and chassis during showers or pool splashes. Sunlight resistant material reduces UV degradation and heat build up on the panel surface. Mildew resistant treatment stops fungal growth in humid conditions. The cover adds minimal insulation so the display cools normally when uncovered.

Fit and installation requirements

The cover measures 63 wide by 38 high by 4.5 deep in the same units as the display specifications. It fits flat panel televisions matching those exterior dimensions. No tools or permanent fixtures are needed; the zippered wrap slides on and off for daily use. The remote pocket frees up side table space while keeping the controller dry.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the SOL70G cover over my flat-panel display and which step is often missed?

Slip the cover over the screen so the 63 cm width and 38 cm height align, then close the zippered front completely; the step people miss is sealing the zipper fully, leaving the remote pocket exposed to rain.

What upkeep will the marine-grade fabric need after months outdoors?

Rinse the Neutral Gray fabric with fresh water, let it air-dry, and check the zippered remote pocket for mildew; the material resists sunlight and water but periodic cleaning keeps the water-resistant coating effective.

Which limit appears first when the cover stays on in constant sun and rain?

Prolonged UV exposure eventually degrades the water-resistant finish, so sunlight resistance is the first property to diminish under sustained outdoor use.
